Need help getting my boy scouts started flint knapping, any suggestions?

We are doing a Native American study with our Scout troop (9 yrs. old) and they are really interested in the arrow heads. I would like them to be able to try and make their own. Can any tell me what supplies I would need (preferably cheap) and a good book or web site for getting started? Thanks!

    Might be a little more advanced then what you are looking for a 9 year old but as a former scout myself i would of loved this. You could make them out of wood as well.
