    copper tools are good tools they last a long time either that or antler material….its easier to have a lil give in your tools…..obsidean is a great beginner material to chip easier knapping and lil to no flaws it it….I watched my dad every sience i was lil while he knapped he was one of the best!

  3. sometime get some 1″ pvc and a 1″ copper cap. wrap the end of the pipe with ecectrical tape till the cap fits tight and them put some on the outside to hold it on. makes one of the best boppers for obsidian and dacite

    It depends on where you live. I buy mine online. the knap-in is the best place to buy though.

    isolating is done by taking several small flakes off the edge of either side of the platform before striking the intended flake.
