  1. those also arent beginner points man,so how is this a beginner video…and if you knap to prove nothing but to yourself,. you wouldnt post it on youtube. lol

  2. congratulations! make a video and I’ll be impressed. I use bone more than copper. I don’t knap to prove anything to anyone except myself. The video was made for the beginner. I recommend copper for beginers. I repect your views however, you’re just a little too cocky.

  3. copper boppers and flakers are blasphemy, use abo and i will be impressed, oil yer screen door too while yer at it lol…..i make long western points as well, i live in northern cal,

  4. thats good cause i love working obsidain

  5. Keokuk chert and obsidian flakes for beginners. Learn to pressure flake arrowheads first. Save the big stuff for when you understand what to do with it. The laws of stone fracture will remain the same.

  6. would you have any suggestions on what to buy?

  7. i’ll definitely check it out, thanks

  8. I get my obsidian from the glass buttes area in Oregon and davis creek california. Mexico has some really nice stuff too but is harder to get. Craig Ratzat of neolithics . com sells top grade stone.

  9. its pretty amasing how well you flintknapp, i try but can never really do much good, but where do you get your obsidian from???

  12. And you say I don’t support you.

  13. It was driving me crazy hearing that sound. It is the door to his own shed.

  14. Yeah, I got so used to that sound I forgot all about it. Sorry.

  15. Great video, but may I suggest you strap that gate shut in the background. It’s like nails on a chalk board. Otherwise. Great stuff.

  16. Thanks sweetie. If it wasn’t for you, the whole project would have stalled out. thanks for teaching me the editing software.

  17. Thanks for the compliments! I strive to do the best I can do. I appreciate any feeback I can get. I’ve learned to balance the point on my leg over the years. Helps keep me focused.

  18. Thank you for presenting your work and techniques. Your videos are very helpful and I appreciate this ‘extra’ film work. You’ve done well showing the details. You made nervous balancing the point on you leg when filing your pressure tip. It turned-out great!

  19. Love you baby! I am proud that you made your video. Keep it up.

  20. Wow, there are a lot of smart ass comments out there. Great videos and thanks for publishing on youtube for free! When I started knapping had to pay for a dvd to learn. One sugestion though, put something over your beer so you don’t swallow a shap flake :)
