    those are the mountains in boy meets world lol. ask the local museum around the area where the indigenous people might have found suitable materials.

  6. oh get a moose billet or a copper popper :) that will help you knock off longer flakes

    i live beside the Ohio river okay..and I found about 60 pounds of obsidian..Is that unusual?

    Silicossis is a horrible way to die!!!! Eye PROTECTION!!!! EVER GET A PEICE IN THE EYE??? Hurts like heck and ya go blind on top of it!!!

  10. eye protection !!! don’t hold the work so close to your face , you breath that dust!!! push and twist with the pressure flaker, A Ishi stick would help

    Use a more twisting push when pressure flaking, you take off more controlled flakes, that leave you with a razor sharp edge.
